1. Eligibility
1.1. The EV SmartSwitch offer is available exclusively on new Honda e:N1 vehicles purchased via a 45-month Operating Lease through Honda Financial Services (“HFS”) from 1 January 2026, while stocks last.
1.2. The lease must be arranged through a participating authorised Honda New Zealand dealer.
2. Offer Details
2.1. Customers may exit their Honda e:N1 Operating Lease at any time after the first 12 months, provided all due monthly rentals have been paid (or upon receipt of 12 monthly rentals), without incurring an early termination fee, when transitioning into a new 36-month Operating Lease on another new Honda vehicle at the time of exit.
2.2. A minimum lease term of 36 months on the new Honda Operating Lease is required for eligibility under this offer.
2.3. This offer applies only where the customer transitions directly from the Honda e:N1 lease into a new Honda Operating Lease, with no gap in lease coverage.
2.4. Any other costs or charges payable under the original lease agreement (including, but not limited to, excess kilometre charges, damage charges, or outstanding payments) will continue to apply in accordance with the lease terms.
2.5. Any Road User Charges (RUC) owing at the time of the Honda e:N1 vehicle return will be the responsibility of the customer.
2.6. Any unused RUC at the time of the Honda e:N1 vehicle return will be refunded by Honda New Zealand Ltd to the customer.
3. Exclusions
3.1. This offer does not apply to:
- Finance lease or hire purchase agreements
- Demonstrator, pre-registered, or used vehicles
- Customers in material default of their lease obligations
3.2. The EV SmartSwitch offer is not transferable to another person or entity.
4. General
4.1. The EV SmartSwitch offer is valid for eligible lease agreements unless extended, modified, or withdrawn earlier at the sole discretion of Honda New Zealand Ltd.
4.2. Honda New Zealand Ltd and Honda Financial Services reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
4.3. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights available under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
