Terms and Conditions

Promoter

The promoter is Honda New Zealand Limited (NZBN 9429035452066) of 455 Broadway, Epsom, Auckland 1023 (Honda).

Promotion Period

The promotion opens at 12:01am on 21 May 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 July 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to enter, entrants must:

a) be 21 years of age or over;

b) hold a current and valid New Zealand driver licence;

c) be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident; and

d) complete a test drive of any new Honda vehicle at a participating Honda Store during the Promotion Period.

e) Employees of Honda, authorised Honda Stores, Service Stores, Service Centres, associated agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

a) Eligible entrants will automatically receive one (1) entry by completing a test drive of a new Honda vehicle at a participating Honda Store during the Promotion Period and agreeing to these terms.

b) Limit of one entry per person, regardless of the number of test drives completed.

c) An entrant who purchases a new Honda vehicle during the Promotion Period will receive one (1) additional entry. Purchase is strictly optional.

d) No additional fee is charged to enter this promotion.

e) Honda reserves the right to disqualify you if it becomes aware that you or your entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Nature of Promotion

This promotion is a sales promotion scheme for the purposes of the Gambling Act 2003.

Prize

a) The prize consists of one (1) new Honda Prelude, including on-road costs with an estimated value of $69,990. The prize will exclude any optional extras on the vehicle.

b) Insurance and ongoing ownership costs are the responsibility of the winner. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

c) If unavailable, an alternative prize of equal or greater value will be provided to the winner.

d) The winner agrees to sign any contracts of sale or other documents necessary to receive the prize.

e) The winner may not return, seek a refund for, or change their mind about the prize, except as expressly permitted by law.

Draw and Winner Notification

a) The prize will be drawn by electronic random prize draw from all eligible entries at Honda’s registered office at 455 Broadway, Epsom, Auckland 1023 on [7th August 2026].

b) The winner will be notified within three (3) business days by the email or phone number provided on your test drive form.

c) If the prize remains unclaimed for a period of five (5) business days after notification, the prize will be forfeited and Honda will perform a redraw no later than [17th August 2026].

Prize Collection

The prize will be collected from the winner’s nearest Honda Store within 20 business days (unless otherwise agreed), subject to availability.

Publicity

The winner agrees, with their prior written consent, to participate in reasonable promotional and publicity activities related to the promotion, including the use of their name, image, likeness, voice and statements in photography, video, audio recordings and written material.

Such promotional activity may include use on Honda New Zealand Limited’s websites, social media channels, internal communications, press releases and other marketing or promotional materials for the purpose of promoting Honda and the promotion.

Privacy

Honda will collect and use personal information for administering the promotion and related promotional activities, in accordance with Honda’s privacy policy available at www.honda.co.nz/privacy.

Entry into the Promotion also entitles Honda to let you know from time to time about news, offers, products and services you might be interested in (by any medium, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, your personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services. We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from entrants or others, with the information we, or our service providers already hold about you.  We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. It is a condition of entry that you consent to receive Honda’s marketing communications, although you may opt out of, or unsubscribe from, receiving marketing communications at any time, under applicable legislation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Honda excludes liability except where liability cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

General

Honda reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion subject to New Zealand law. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
