Revved up and ready to go! A new season of the Motul Honda Cup has arrived with electrifying momentum as New Zealand’s biggest Honda-only motorsport event.
As longtime sponsors of the cup, we’re proud partners of the series again this year and thrilled to welcome Mugen on board. Renowned for its engineering expertise and world-class performance parts, it’s fantastic to have Mugen’s support for the 2024-25 season.
We have two veteran racers championing Honda as our official drivers. Representing Honda Store Newmarket, Kevin Hopkins is taking charge of a Honda Civic Type R EP3, while national sprint car champion, Kerry Brocas is behind the wheel of a Civic Type R FK8 for Honda Store South Auckland.

They’ve been putting the pedal to the metal during the first two rounds at Hampton Downs and Taupō, but it’s just the beginning. Round three begins 21 February 2025 at Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon in Feilding, followed by round four in Taupō on 29 March 2025 and round five at Hampton Downs on 6 April 2025.
