Fuel Pump Recall
Honda New Zealand will voluntarily recall a total of 1,922, 2018-20 year Civic, CR-V, and HR-V vehicles to replace their fuel pumps free of charge.
Owners of the affected vehicles, identified through NZ registration data, will be contacted directly by Honda New Zealand.
The fuel pumps installed in these vehicles may contain defective impellers, which could, over time, result in a loss of engine power or vehicle stalling. Honda has received no reports of crashes or injuries related to this condition.
We encourage each owner of an affected vehicle to take it to an authorised Honda dealer as soon as they receive notification of parts availability.

Airbag Inflator Recalls
Honda New Zealand has announced a recall of inflators, affecting New Zealand new Honda Civic, Jazz, Accord Euro, CR-V, Insight, and City for a possible fault with the driver and/or front seat passenger airbags.
The recall is due to the potential abnormal deployment of the airbags and expands on earlier recalls already carried out on Takata supplied airbags. The recall is a small part of a worldwide recall of Hondas fitted with airbags from outside supplier Takata.
Owners of the affected vehicles, who have been identified through registration data, will be contacted by Honda New Zealand.
Honda New Zealand is investigating second hand, Japanese used imported Honda vehicles that might also be affected by this recall. Owners of affected vehicles, who can be identified through registration data, will be contacted by Honda New Zealand.
Note: Honda strongly encourages vehicle owners to confirm that any replacement airbag module used to repair their vehicle is purchased directly from an authorised Honda Agent. Under no circumstances should second hand (used) parts be used when replacing (SRS) airbag assemblies.
